Maxine Holloway is a sex worker, advocate, and artist based in Oakland, California. She began her career in the Bay Area’s creatively-minded kink and Queer porn scene. Her writing and artwork explore themes of desire, Mommy archetypes, labor, MILF culture, commodification, and grief. Her in-person sessions specialize in the appreciation of pregnancy and Mommies. Her performances have earned AVN nominations, an XBIZ award, and a Feminist Porn Award, and have been showcased in film festivals worldwide. During her SOMArts curatorial residency, she created the multi-media exhibition “We’re Still Working - The Art of Sex Work.” As co-founder and co-director of Bay Area Workers Support (BAWS), she collaborates with a dedicated team to practice community care and mutual aid for local sex workers.
