Audio Portfolio

My love of audio began when I was a kid, recording my own “radio show” on a tape deck in my linen closet, inviting friends to be my guests and dubbing REM songs off local stations. That led to DJing a late night psych-rock show on my college radio station, and later to a career in podcasting. I produced and hosted my own indie podcast Why Are People Into That?! for a decade, leading to a book of the same name from Hachette for which I read the popular audiobook. I’ve also hosted shows and episodes for Wondery, Radiotopia, Dipsea, and more, working in professional studios and recording from home. Most recently, I hosted, wrote, produced, and edited an oral history project called Let Us Survive for the Hacking//Hustling collective. I’m known for my theatrical style, queer sensibility, and most of all my adaptability to any story. I also love guesting on other people’s shows!
