Workshops AND LECTURES:
why are people into that?! live
Getting clean to get dirty:
anal PREP, HEALTH, AND PLEASURE
Anal play is one of the most pleasurable and taboo-busting forms of sexy fun. Yet the most common (and understandable) inhibitor to a wild and fun butt session is: won’t it get messy? Tina Horn, the host of kinky sex podcast Why Are People Into That?! is here to give you all the tips you need to enjoy butt stuff worry-free! We’ll discuss different kinds of anal prep routines, from fleet enemas to showers, from special absorbent sheets to safer sex gear. Tina will provide lots of techniques for great anal communication between partners, and detailed tips from porn stars on how they make anal look so easy! We’ll also dip our toes into some advanced anal experiences, including enema fetishes, ass worship, and all kinds of anal toys! Tina’s experience as a professional dominatrix, pornographer, dirty talk expert, and published author makes her the perfect guide to banishing all of your fears so you can enjoy the anal sex you know you wanna have. You’ll find this class fun and useful whether you’re straight, gay, top, bottom, or just an all-around butt lover like Tina!
why sex work decriminalization matters to feminism
In July 2015, Amnesty International called for the global decriminalization of sex work in order to support “harm reduction and the human rights principles of physical integrity and autonomy.” The backlash to this statement by the world’s leading human rights NGO is merely the latest chapter in an ongoing controversy within feminist discourse. Based on a massively popular article originally published by Tina Horn on Refinery29 in 2016, this lecture will guide students through major global feminist issues that intersect with the sex worker rights movement. From economic justice to trans freedom from violence, from employment discrimination to pop culture representations, from rape culture to HIV care, students will learn data and analysis about escorting, BDSM, porn, stripping, and camming beyond sensationalist headlines. With a decade of experience in various parts of the sex industry, and many years covering related issues in articles, books, lectures, and podcasts, Tina Horn is the perfect person to take students on a well-researched yet colloquial dive into these contentious topics. Students will hear perspectives from sex workers themselves (with an emphasis on voices from trans*, POC, and other marginalized communities), and gain broad but detailed knowledge of the complicated history and hopeful future of feminist sex work.
DIGITAL DIRTY DISPATCHES:

What polyamory could mean besides sex with other people
Most of us get into polyamory for the variety of sexual partners and experiences. This lecture will apply some of the principles of polyamory — including compersion and metamours — to other aspects of our social wellness and personal satisfaction. Are you ever truly monogamous if you treat your self with the same care as you do your lover(s)? How can we unpack the many ways jealousy rules our lives, from flirtations to fantasy? What can we learn about happiness with our current partners from making peace with their exes? Join Tina Horn for an expansive lecture on non-monogamy that will be useful to anyone in any relationship model, from singles, to couples, to triads and beyond.
DIY PORN: FROM NAKED SELFIES TO NAUGHTY SEX TAPES
Nowadays, everyone has a porn-making machine in their pockets. Join Tina Horn, queer pornographer and author of Sexting: the Grown-Up’s Guide to Getting Dirty Digitally, for a deep dive into the possibilities of DIY porn-making. We’ll cover techniques for everything from Skype sex to selfie flirting to making money as an amatuer porn star, as well as essential tips for protecting your privacy. Whether you’re looking to spice up your relationship with a sex tape, or build intimacy with a long-distance lover, this fun class will help you to reinvent yourself as a sexy superstar!
the whore singularity
When sexually-themed online media business owners can be indicted for prostitution, when a minor can be prosecuted for “exploiting” naked images of himself, everyone’s freedom of sexual expression is under attack. Whether you share naked pictures with your partner, post online escort ads, or masturbate on a webcam, your digital sexual imagery can and will be weaponized against you through harassment, public shaming, or by the law. As more and more people become naked on the internet (professional and amateur, consensually and non-consensually), persistent whore and slut stigma affects everyone.
This workshop from one of the most provocative voices in sex work journalism will address important subjects of digital privacy, modern intimacy, and the way everyone is affected by sex worker stigma. We will politicize current events such as the Rentboy and MyRedBook raids, several cases of teenagers caught sexting, the “Fappening,” and more. In this workshop, you will learn concrete risk-aware assessment tools for digital privacy, how to combat whore stigma and slut shaming in your work and personal life, and why you should (and how you can) support the decriminalization of sex work. A version of this lecture can put specific emphasis on the way queer sexuality is policed.
nauGHTY NURSES & GOOD PUPPIES: COSTUMES, FETISH GEAR, & LINGERIE
It’s Halloween season, so you might be inclined to try on a costume that’s both dark and sexy. But what if you find yourself wanting to wear some of those items year round? Tina Horn, host of the sexy Why Are People Into That?! podcast, is here to walk you through everything wearable in the store. We’ll discuss fetish uniforms, including the appeal of leather, latex, rubber, and more. We’ll discuss finding the lingerie that’s right for you and/or your partner, including exploring the sex appeal of stockings. We’ll also take a dive into wearable fetish gear, including ball gags, nipple clamps, and chest harnesses, as well as wearable sex toys from remote-controlled panty vibes to comfy long-wear buttplugs. Come get some Halloween ideas while learning how erotic outfits can transform you into the sexy persona you’ve always wanted to be!
Use Your Words: Dirty Talk
It’s often said that the biggest erogenous zone is between the ears, not the legs, and sexy talk is a great way to get those juices flowing.
Professional exhibitionist motormouth Tina Horn will open your mind to dirty dynamics and have you cursing like a sailor in no time.
You’ll get a chance to practice nasty talk, learn how to get in touch with your own filthy fantasies and the fantasies of others, and experience the excitement that words can unlock in and outside the boudoir or dungeon.
People of all genders, partnerings, and desires welcome! Class will include a live demonstration that’s guaranteed to make you blush!
Queering Dirty Talk
Dirty talk and sexual communication is challenging for all people, but queers in particular have an imperative to work on these skills. Language in relation to gender, bodies, sex acts, and identity has the potential to be triggering, empowering or re-claiming for queers and those who love them. The more we know how to communicate desires and boundaries, and know what to consider, the more fun we can have with our mouths opened AND closed!
Join professional smack talker Tina Horn as we share basic tools for great dirty talk and discuss the importance of desire and boundary communication for kinky play. You will gain something from this class whether you identify as queer or not, and regardless of your gender.
Bottoms Up! Spanking:
more than a “kink gateway drug”
Spanking fantasies are as varied as the people who enjoy them, but often stigmas keep us from safely exploring this fun, cost-free erotic activity. Some of us daydream of strict discipline, while others just enjoy any way we can get our hands on a nice ass.
Join Tina Horn as she leads an upbeat seminar that will empower you to live out and take pride in your fantasies. Tops will empower themselves with the skills necessary to administer the most delicious spanks, and bottoms will learn how they can help facilitate the treatment they’ve always deserved.
This class will also touch on other types of impact play such as flogging and caning, as well as basic role play and Dominant/Submissive techniques.
Novices, old hands, tops, bottoms, couples, men, women, and queers of all identities and orientations are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Hit Me Baby! – Impact Play 101
Erotic impact play – everything from spanking to face slapping to tit torture – holds arousing potential for many lovers. Impact play can be a sensual tease, fantastic foreplay, a reward, a punishment, and much, much more.
Let Tina Horn be your guide to the anatomy, safety, and technique, and sexy power of using physical force in the bedroom or dungeon. She’ll discuss a broad range of activities and fantasies, how to use toys like floggers, paddles, canes, and your hands, useful tactics and techniques, as well as how to talk with your partner to make sure you both get what you want.
Anatomy and technique will be demonstrated on a hot demo submissive.
Advanced Impact Play: Spanking as Ass Worship
When we think of spanking, we often think of corporal punishment and domestic discipline, and with good reason! Those kinds of scenes are incredibly hot! Yet emphasizing the cruelty of impact play can distract us from the more sensual aspects: the way juicy flesh undulates after a smack, or the way our naughty bits feel when they’re stimulated by the attention of a strong hand.
Perhaps you’re a seasoned player who wants to go deeper, adding some variation to your routine. Or you may be curious about BDSM and looking for something that combines a little darkness with a little playfulness. Let professional macho slut Tina Horn guide you into her world of erotic spanking.
The class will cover anatomy, safety, dirty talk, positions, technique, and feature a sexy live demo.
Advanced Impact Play: Transcendent Corporal Scenes
For something so deceptively simple, spanking is powerfully versatile. It can be sensual or sado-masochistic, deep humiliation or caring bodywork. Heavier play involving implements like belts and canes can also produce transcendent physical highs and psychological subspace.
In this workshop we’ll review basic anatomy and safety before delving into ways of turning your corporal scenes into opportunities for fulfilling energetic connections.
Love The Whore You’re With:
Sex Worker Self Care
– Developed with Andre Shatki
Each sex worker has their own understanding of both the “Sex” and the “Work” aspects of their job. We use many tools for our trade, and since these tools often include sharing parts of our bodies, our brains, and our hearts with clients, we also face many challenges in our “off-the-clock” relationships.
Join sex work advocate Tina Horn to discuss how sex workers can work to strengthen our sexual and loving relationships, and how those who love us and fuck us can work to be excellent partners. We’ll be discussing what tools we can borrow from models of non-monogamy and kink negotiations (addressing jealousy, asserting and accepting desires and boundaries), but also emphasizing the ways that work relations differ from other kinds of intimacy (navigating STIs, plus all those pesky feelings!).
We will also share suggestions of what non-workers can do to support their working partners, dates, friends, family members, and community members.
Love The Whore: Feminist Porn Conference Edition
with Andre Shakti & Arabelle Raphael
In order to produce feminist porn, you need feminist sexual labor. But what does feminist sex work look like? We propose that it involves self-care, social justice, and mutual respect.
In this workshop, we will discuss various tools porn performers can use to make professional sex emotionally, physically, and financially sustainable as well as profitable. Some topics of note will include burn out prevention, health care access, and transitioning out of the industry.
We will also share suggestions of what non-workers can do to support their working partners, dates, friends, family members, and community members.
This is a workshop for sex worker voices, but we also readily welcome active listeners who wish to learn more about allyship.
Sex Magic & Psychological Control through Storytelling
Just as stories are central to culture, erotic narratives and archetypical dynamics are central to enjoyment of sexuality.
In this class we’ll examine some of the classic sexual situations and characters in their many incarnations – including domestic discipline, master/slave, age play, animal play, and consensual non-consent. We’ll also discuss sexual iconography and symbolism.
Tina Horn will share tools to better comprehend your own fantasies so you can dissipate socialized shame and use them to their full potential. If it’s your pleasure, you can use this understanding to get inside people’s heads and totally consensually mind-fuck them!
Total Fantasy Immersion through Character
Do you have one sexual personality or many? How does that personality relate to you “in real life”?
Erotic irony such as “lady in the streets slut in the sheets” is one of the most transformative powers of sexuality. Being someone else in the bedroom or dungeon can be highly cathartic, and even a tool for transforming yourself into the person you want to be.
In this workshop, we’ll discuss the roles of costumes, ritual, and role-play in embodying your erotica persona(s).
